The two halves compress around the pole with a durable plastic component. Flex allows for slight pole variations and a snug fit. This allows it to be installed without taking the tent apart, and for it to be locked into various height positions.
Cedar is naturally weather resistant. Select unfinished to let it patina/finish it yourself, or finished with clear satin topcoat for added protection.
The first two photos are a custom 26" cedar table with a clear satin finish. All other photos are of the 21" table. The design allows for variances in the pole diameter.
